On Saturday, December 18, 2021, an animation workshop took place in the Moise Palace. Participants had the opportunity to create their drawings of butterflies in the drawing technique of their choice and then breathe life into them through several stages. Radovan Kunić, from the Academy of Applied Arts of the University of Rijeka, led the workshop. The workshop was two school hours long and intended for children aged ten and up. Although creating animated films is usually a long-term process, the path from a classic drawing to a motion one can be straightforward. The animated butterflies will later be incorporated into the video installation “Gathering” and presented at the exhibition.
