The fifth Joint Project Architecture & Philosophy Summer School: “The Project of Theory,” was organized by the Center for Advanced Studies – South East Europe, DeltaLab (University of Rijeka), Technical University Berlin, Politecnico Torino, PerspectLab, and Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (University of Belgrade).

Three-day-long workshops give the chance to present and discuss the role of theory in the practice of architecture, the relationship between architecture and other disciplines, such as philosophy, sociology, theory of art, science, etc., and many other topics.

The first day of “The Project of Theory’s” program was Wednesday, the 4th of May. The participants have been welcomed by Petar Bojanić (University of Belgrade / CAS SEE, University of Rijeka), followed by the lectures from Jörg Gleiter (Technische Universität Berlin), Miloš Ćipranić (University of Belgrade), Federica Joe Gardella (Politecnico di Torino), Tommaso Listo (Politecnico di Torino), Klaus Platzgummer (Technische Universität Berlin), Ozan Soya (Technische Universität Berlin), Ida Križaj Leko (Deltalab, University of Rijeka), and Željko Radinković (Institue for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade).

On the second day, lectures were given by Petar Bojanić (University of Belgrade / CAS SEE, University of Rijeka), Snežana Vesnić (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade), Theo Butenas Santos (Technische Universität Berlin), Paulina Blaszczyk (Technische Universität Berlin), Giulia Moltanaro (Politecnico di Torino), Lidia Gasperoni (Technische Universität Berlin) Saskia Gribling (Politecnico di Torino), Isidora Popović (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade), and Francesca Moro (Politecnico di Torino).

Friday was the last day of workshops. The following lecturers had the opportunity to share their knowledge: Alessandro Armando (Politecnico di Torino), Marko Ristić (Institue for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade), Igor Cvejić (Institue for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade), Viviana Torero (Technische Universität Berlin), Aleksandra Jarocka-Mikrut (John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin), Jonida Alliaj, Fedor Torgashev (Technische Universität Berlin), and Tamara Koneska (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade).
