About the Seminar

In this CAS Seminar, we explore Foresight and Futures Literacy as tools for navigating uncertainty in an era of rapid technological, environmental, and social change. These competencies empower individuals and organizations to anticipate emerging trends, envision plausible futures, and make informed decisions that shape resilient pathways forward. Marina Andeva, a full professor at UACS whose application of foresight methodologies has shaped policy initiatives with government, as well as other areas, such as imagining futures with her students and young people. She has developed a master’s course on Foresight at her university and published a practical workbook on the topic in Macedonian. Part of her work is a pioneering networking initiative connecting Foresight and Future Literacy institutions, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and collective action. The conversation unpacks her practical experiences and addresses how these approaches can amplify impact in policy, business, civil society, and beyond.
