On Saturday, Thursday 15th, 2023, Prof. Rajka Jurdana-Sepic, PhD, held a UNIRI for the Cres Community lecture at Moise Palace called A Hundred photos of Japan – Sakuramichi.
Sakuramichi – the Path Where Japanese Cherry Blossoms Bloom” is the title of a casual yet educational lecture created after a visit to Japan in the spring of 2023. Through a relaxed stroll with photographs from her personal album, the lecturer provides a personal experience of Japan, its culture, and traditions, its modernity and technological advancements, with highlights on urban lifestyle, fascinating railway infrastructure, enchanting spring festivals, and rich cultural heritage.
