On Thursday, November 4, as part of the program UNIRI for the Cres Community, we were joined by two professors from the Department of Mathematics, University of Rijeka- Bojan Crnković, and Vedrana Mikulić Crnković.
The lecture entitled “Are Our Secrets Safe?” took us into the time machine of coding. The lecture began with an explanation of how Caesar used encryption, how the Enigma was used, and ended by making assumptions about the future of coding.
