University of Rijeka (Center for Advanced Studies – Southeast Europe) and University of Georgia (Institute of Higher Education) signed a cooperation agreement towards the objective of a joint enforcement of academic programs and scientific research activities in the domain of development of institutions of science and higher education.
This agreement has been signed in the course of the 4th International CAS SEE Conference PLAYING BY THE RULES. Institutions in Action: The Nature and the Role of Institutions in the Real World, taking place at the University of Rijeka, May 26-28, 2016.
The ceremony of agreement signing started by the greetings of Rector Pero Lučin, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Rector Snježana Prijić Samaržija, Ph.D., Prof. Zoran Sušanj, Rector’s Assistant for University Strategy and Ms. Danijela Bradamante, Head of Rector’s Office.
The agreement of understanding was signed by Pero Lučin, M.D., Ph.D. (Rector of the University of Rijeka), Snježana Prijić-Samaržija, Ph.D. (Vice Rector for Studies and Students and Director of CAS SEE, University of Rijeka), Dr. Libby V. Morris (University of Georgia, Higher Education Institute) and Dr. Edward G. Simpson, Jr. (University of Georgia,Higher Education Institute).
