2nd Workshop on Social Research in Societies in Transition

On the 5th and 6th of June 2023, researchers from the Centre for Organisational and Human Resources Research (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana), Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (University of Belgrade), and Center for Advanced Studies South East Europe (University of Rijeka) will meet to exchange their ongoing projects, find areas of overlap and shared focus, and establish and develop research connections. The discussion about the themes of research and further potential overlap will include the issues related to political and economic de-democratization, the social impact of research, organizational culture in institutional and political systems, digital society, and the development of unions under the conditions of platform capitalism and globalized labor market. The workshop will continue last year’s sketching of future plans for specific research collaborations.
