UBU@50 Workshop and Conference in the organization of the Center for Advanced Studies Southeast Europe and Multimedia Institute MaMa from Zagreb was held in Moise Palace on April 6-11, 2024.

The workshop and conference are part of the conceptual project Ubu@50 celebrating the 25th anniversary of UbuWeb (ubu.com), the largest online archive of avant-garde art.

In November 2022, a dozen participants gathered at Moise Palace in the town of Cres to initiate work on a hybrid publication titled “Ubu@50: Everything Is Temporary,” envisioning what the near future should look like to ensure that Ubu and other autonomous digital archives endure for the next quarter century. With a second gathering in April 2024, they completed the publication and held a mini-conference on April 10th, which will be available to the global public in a virtual format.
