From 12th to 18th of September, Moise Palace will become the site of development of three documentaries investigating and articulating the exceptional historical and contemporary stories thematizing diverse critical aspects of democratic life. In an intense five-day Masterclass, Rajko Grlić in collaboration with Nenad Puhovski will provide consultation for three new films by Goran Devčić, Igor Bezinović, and Drago Hedl, Hrvoje Zovko and Ivan Ramljak. The masterclass will focus in particular on the process of detailed structuring of the narrative from the recorded materials and planning out the final stages of film development. In the evenings, Moise Palace will become a cinema open to the public, showing the documentary films selected by the authors participating in the Masterclass. The program of the evening cinema Documenting Democracy will be available in September at the latest.

An education center of the University of Rijeka. A five-hundred-year-old patrician townhouse and the largest Renaissance palace on the Croatian islands. A venue and forum for various scientific and research activities, it welcomes visiting academics, students and scholars.
