About the Seminar

In this CAS Seminar, we are joined by composer and interdisciplinary artist Sara Stevanović, whose work spans contemporary composition, multimedia performance, and experimental music theatre. Her artistic practice engages with social constructs, aesthetics of absurdity, and reflections on contemporary life through sound, performance, and multimedia forms.

The conversation explores the intersections of artistic practice, ecological imagination, and cultural futures, with particular attention to youth agency, sustainability, and participatory cultural work. The discussion situates Sara's creative trajectory within broader questions of how contemporary composition and artistic practice can respond to socio-ecological challenges, civic participation, and emerging democratic imaginaries.
