The Center for Advanced Studies Southeast Europe, Rijeka (CAS SEE Rijeka) Fellowship Program is an international, but above all regional researcher mobility program offering10-month and 5-month residencies in Rijeka (University of Rijeka, Croatia). The CAS SEE Rijeka supports the focused, self-directed work of outstanding young researchers. Each fellow benefits from the challenging intellectual and research conditions and from the stimulating environment of a newly established CAS SEE Rijeka community of perspective and courageous scholars. CAS SEE Rijeka Fellowships are mainly offered in the fields of the humanities and social sciences but may also be granted to scholars in life and exact sciences, provided that their proposed research project does not require laboratory facilities and that it interfaces with humanities and social sciences.
The Program welcomes applications from promising young scholars prepared to go through the highly competitive process. In order to match the Program standards, applicants have to submit a solid and innovative research proposal, to demonstrate the ability to forge beyond disciplinary specialization, to show a regional commitment as well as quality publications in high-impact venues.
For the 2014-2015 academic year, CAS SEE Rijeka will soon announce an offer for FIVE 10-month and TEN5-month fellowships.
