Juliet Millican is a research associate at the Institute of Development Studies and coordinator of Re-Alliance, a UK based network supporting regenerative response to climate and conflict displacement. Her research interests are in the role of higher education in conflict, pedagogies for peacebuilding and regenerative humanitarian response and she works primarily through action oriented and community-based approaches.

She has been involved with peace hubs in Sarajevo, Rwanda, Colombia, Syria and written on the different roles universities have played in conflict response in Palestine, Myanmar, South Africa, and the North of Ireland. Her work in Re-Alliance involves managing community-based projects in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Bangladesh and promoting the importance of nature-based humanitarian response.
