Fellowship Calls
Whatever their specific theme, all CAS SEE calls share a common orientation: research on youth, generational change, and the futures being formed in Southeast Europe and beyond. Young people across the region face emigration, insecure work, democratic erosion, and climate anxiety, yet they are rarely heard in the debates that shape their prospects.
Investigating these questions is urgent. We support social sciences and humanities scholarship that is both rigorous and publicly engaged. Because early-career researchers often work in precarious conditions themselves, CAS SEE gives particular care to their inclusion, offering time, a stipend, and a community in which to develop their work.
