PHOTO EXHIBITION OPENING: “Out of Sight: Poverty, Rurality, Gender”

The photo exhibition opening will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016, starting at 5:00 pm at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Main hall) on the University Campus, Sveučilišna avenija 4, Rijeka. The “Out of Sight: Poverty, Rurality, Gender” exhibition is a part of a Summer School “Rethinking Politics of Diversity” program and will be open in its whole duration, September 12th – September 16th, 2016.

They achieve this through making photos. Using a camera, girls, young women and women from rural areas complemented our results and ethnographic materials made by our researchers, by giving a human face to poverty and social exclusion.
